Ritchey introduced the new Road Logic steel road bike frame for 2013, and it is now.

As early as the 1970s, Tom Ritchey built his first road frame in his parents' garage. It is said that 2013 Road Logic has many subtleties and details collected from Tom's rich steel frame experience.

He designed a new, heat-treated three-butt Ritchey Logic tube set for the frame, with a radical short butt section optimized for TIG welding, aimed at reducing weight and improving ride quality.

According to the manufacturer, Ritchey's proprietary forged and machined one-piece head tube uses standard embedded bearings and saves 80 grams compared to a standard head tube design.

Ritchey said: “Road Logic is great for riding long and epic days on roads that are not always paved, but still flexible and strong enough to make a county sprint at the end of the day.”

Road Logic is available in six sizes, from 49 cm to 59 cm, using the classic Ritchey geometry. For example, the 55cm version is equipped with 525mm seat tube, 560mm effective top tube, 16cm head tube and 73.5° frame angle. There is enough clearance to install tires up to 28c.

Road Logic is not as light as some extremely fast machines on the market. This is not the point here. The 55cm version is 1,769g plus 345g matching fork. They are priced at £950 together with Ritchey WCS headphones.

Paligap, Ritchey's UK distributor, estimates that the first stock will arrive in mid-December. Get more details from the website.
